I have used Hydrogen Peroxide all my life for ear infections. Its only recent that physicians are adapting the same technique. Tilt your head sideways and pour the peroxide into your ear and let it stay in until it stops fizzing, then turn your head over a towel and drain it out. This will insure that all infection is dead. Repeat again after you pour out the first treatment.

hydrogen peroxide:

lay down and turn head sideways and fill ear w/hydrogen peroxide. leave it in for about 8 min and then turn head and let peroxide drain out of ear- while doing the other ear. the peroxide boils & looses everything bad in your ears.

Onions

Slice an onion in half and grill in pan until hot. cover with paper towel and apply cut side down to ear. the onion will draw out the infection and help to alleviate pain in the ear almost immediately.

diane never put olive oil into an ear that is giving pain as the pain usually means there is infection present and olive oil can make it worse.oil should only be used to soften wax.

Tumeric Root my daughter had an ear infection, her doctor gave her an antibiotic, which caused severe abdominal pain daily, it didn't work, so a second antibiotic was administered, i finally saw an acupuncturist who suggested smashing up peeled tumeric root with a little water for eardrops.

garlic and potatoes When my son was a little boy he suffered from chronic ear infections. The doctors could not find an antibiotic strong enough to keep the infection away. Later we learned he was alergic to pasteurized milk and dairy. But before we realized this we had gone on a trip out of town and my son had another severe ear ache accompanied with fever. Sweet Oil Warm sweet oil warm enough it does not burn drop 3-4 drops into ea. ear and let sit, continue w/ next ear, repeat as often as needed. tea tree oil tea-tree oil apply a few drops of tea-tree oil into the infected ear. stuff a little tissue into the ear to absorb excess oil and puss. keep head tipped sideways for one hour before bed. take the stopper out and go straight to bed. there will be a little drainage, but thats normal. continue everynight for one week. we do this to my little brother, it works. Chiropractic Although not a home remedy. I have seen more results with chiropractic then any other oils warm cooking oil and put 2 to 3 drops on side of ear opening so the oil will slide down into it. Also almond oil 1 drop on babys and kids and 2 drops on adults you don't have to warm almond oil. I have 3 kids and these remedies work really good at night time. H2O2 Squirt a dropper full of Hydrogen peroxide in the infected ear and allow it to boil until done. You need to be laying down of course to hold the peroxide in. I started to get an earrache last year and used this method to clear it up; I never had to go to the doctor. Onion Juice Put a few drops of warm onion juice into the ear. It is an instant pain reliver. I've used this dozens of times with my children who were screaming in the middle of the night with ear pain. ear infection put few drops of onion into the infected ear.it will settle down in few seconds.
